Research Interests

  • Knowledge transfer and clinical tools creation
  • fMRI and behavioural studies on aging and the impact of lesion to the right hemisphere to communication skills (word processing semantics, discourse and pragmatics) and it’s clinical implications (evaluation and management)
  • Heterogeneity of cognitive manifestations in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia
  • Mechanisms of aging and cognitive impairment in the elderly
  • Neurofunctional reorganization that allows the maintenance of communication skills with age
  • Effects of lesions to the right hemisphere of the brain on abilities as well as cognitive impairment in Alzheimer’s disease
  • Other collaborations : neglect, spatial orientation, recovery from aphasia, pragmatic disorders in autism and schizophrenia
